An 'archeological' dig in Finland has just unearthed the real Santa Claus. However, this Santa is not one you would want hanging around your children. It's the eve of Christmas and all the local children have begun mysteriously disappearing. Young Pietari (Onni Tommila) and his father Rauno (Jorma Tommila), a reindeer hunter by trade, capture the mythological being when he falls into their wolf trap. Trying to recover from the loss of this year’s reindeer heard they attempt to sell Santa to the misguided leader of the multinational corporation sponsoring the dig. However, Santa’s elves are a ruthless bunch that will stop at nothing to free their fearless leader from captivity. Directed and written by Jalmari Helander, RARE EXPORTS: A CHRISTMAS TALE is a wickedly delightful re-imagining of the Santa Klaus myth.

Cabo Blanco is a small fishing village in the Northern coast of Peru with a community of villagers who have deep-rooted religious traditions. Miguel is a handsome, young and beloved fisherman. He is married to Mariela, who is 7-months pregnant with their first child. Miguel harbors a scandalous secret: He is having a love affair with another man, Santiago, a painter who is ostracized by the townsfolk for being agnostic and open about his sexuality.
Santiago accidentally drowns when he is drawn down by the ocean's strong undertow. However, he is unable to pass peacefully to the other side. He returns after his death to ask Miguel to look for his body and bury it according to the rituals of the town. When Miguel finds Santago’s corpse he must choose between sentencing Santiago to eternal torment or helping his pass over and there by revealing their relationship to Mariela and the entire village. Miguel is forced to deal with the consequences of his acts and to come to terms with who he really is, even if by doing so he stands the chance of losing the people he loves the most.

In the sleepy town of Riverton, Massachusetts, there is a legend about the Riverton Ripper, a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the very night he died. Adam “Bug” Hellerman (MAX THIERIOT) is one of the children born that bloody night. He’s grown up hearing stories about the killer and has been plagued by nightmares since he was a small child. Now on his sixteenth birthday the monster has to claim the Riverton Seven. But has he returned in the flesh or a spirit? Bug must face an evil …before he and the rest of the Riverton Seven are dead.
Master of horror director Wes Craven gives celluloid birth to a new horror villain called the Riverton Ripper, a serial killer with multiple personalities that joins his long list of icons of fright like Freddy Krueger or Scream’s Ghostface. However, this time out the scares are truly in the audience’s face as Craven serves up his new scare ride in 3D.
