SINYSTER
Salt City Home
Video
review by Terry
Wickham
There is a hold
up that ends in a violent shoot-out. Two people die and one is wounded.
The criminals go on the run. This is the first exciting twenty-minutes
of SINYSTER. Simon (Steve Kelly) the leader of the criminals has them take
refuge in a abandoned house, awaiting there for his girlfriend Lisa (Marcia
Carol Miller-Dollarhide), who helped engineer the stickup. Once they get
to house, the movie takes a nose dive with not much happening except; supposedly
threatening dialogue, very poor lighting and some forced acting. The movie
starts out so strong that it climaxes early. Once at the house, the film
never gains the momentum and energy it created in the first 20 minutes.
As soon as the sun goes down, the film's primary source for exposing clear
images, it becomes very grainy and the scenes that take place outside the
house at night, are almost completely black. The film starts with a bang
and will grabs your attention. It's too bad that the writers couldn't come
up with anything to take it further.
