BLOODLUST: The Vampire
of Nuremberg

EI Independent Cinema

review by Terry Wickham

Based on a true story, this is a nihilistic story of a deaf man who likes to drink the blood of the dead. Made in the 1970's, it's an exploitation movie that tries to capitalize on blood and nudity. I didn't find either aspect particular appealing, though the film was competently made. The two best things I can say about the film is that the score by David Llywelyn is very Goblinesque and the film has a real sense of morbidness.
