-  Lionsgate announced an Ebay charitable auction for several exclusive "THE EYE” posters signed by Jessica Alba & Alessandro Nivalo benefiting The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. The winning bidders will receive studio certified posters signed by the cast along with a signed letter verifying their authenticity.  Auctions begin today and will continue through the film’s opening weekend.  Interested fans and collectors should be aware there are only a limited amount of posters available.  

Included In This Package:
- A Signed Poster from JESSICA ALBA & ALESSANDRO NIVALO
- A Hand Signed Letter from a Lionsgate Executive

{Variety} -  Matt Reeves is in early talks with Paramount to direct a "Cloverfield" sequel, and he has also made a deal with GreeneStreet Films to direct "The Invisible Woman."

DreamWorks nabs rights to 'Activity' PDF Print E-mail

{Variety} - DreamWorks has acquired all domestic and remake rights to Slamdance Fest entry "Paranormal Activity," Oren Peli's micro-budget hand-held haunted house pic.

The film likely will be released in the U.S. direct to DVD, but IM Global picked up all international rights; the pic will be included on its upcoming Berlin slate.

{Hollywood Reporter} - Brash Entertainment is developing a video game based on the upcoming movie "Space Chimps," from Vanguard Animation and Starz Media.

The "Chimps" game, which has been in development for more than a year, will be available for Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo's Wii and DS systems.

{Hollywood Reporter} - Sci Fi Channel has greenlighted "Sanctuary," the first television series to use live-action actors against virtual sets in the style of the features "300" and "Sin City."

Sci Fi has ordered a full 13-episode season of the new scripted drama series, which originated online as the first high-definition sci-fi Web series.

{New York, NY} - From Film Comment’s pages to the Walter Reade Theater’s screen, the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s ninth Film Comment Selects brings to New York two weeks of previews, discoveries, films without distribution, under-recognized revivals and more, Feb. 15–28. An annual favorite and one of the city’s most adventurous showcases for international and art cinema, the 2008 series welcomes 20 new films, 19 of which will receive their North American, U.S. or New York premieres. Tributes to directors Richard Fleischer, Damon Packard and Alex Cox round out the diverse slate. Several filmmakers and guests are expected to attend.

{Hollywood Reporter} -Director Mark Romanek has left Universal's "The Wolfman," just weeks before the movie was to go before cameras.

The helmer and studio were on opposite sides of the budget fence. Romanek was asking for additional money to make the film, and the studio was adamant about containing it to the $100 million range, especially because the project was being eyed as an R-rated horror film, typically not blockbuster fare.

{Hollywood Reporter} - Kevin Nealon has joined the cast of Fox's adventure comedy "They Came From Upstairs," starring Ashley Tisdale.

"Upstairs," produced by Barry Josephson and directed by John Schultz, revolves around a group of teens who team to defend their Maine vacation home from an alien invasion upstairs.
