 Director Craig Singer just gave us a call to let us know that PERKINS' 14 is currently in post productionin NYC, the first feature film to be developed entirely over the Internet. What a year ago may have been a YouTube sensation might now be a box office success. Produced by After Dark Films, and Massify in association with FanLib, PERKINS' 14 will be distributed in theatres nationwide (January 2009) as part of the third After Dark Horrorfest. Singer's film "Dark Ride" was one of the more successful features released theatrically during year one of Horrorfest.

~ Network to remake 1975 cult classic! ~
Reported in Daily VARIETY by Daniel Frankel
- MTV is doing the time warp on a remake of 1975 cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Lou Adler, exec producer of the original film, is partnering with BermanBraun and Fox Television Studios on the new rendition.
Two-hour remake will use the original screenplay by Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien but may also include music not featured in the original.

Leave it to Josh Whedon to create an internet only miniseries musical super hero/arch villian love story. Starring Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible and Nathan Fillion as Captian Hammer and Felicia Day as the girl they both love.
Watch it quick becuase it won't be up for long.
